Bluestone Estate Wedding | Ethereal romantic Styled Shoot

Over the summer, I was feeling super anxious to get my creative juices flowing. I had this vision & wanted so desperately to shoot it so I decided a styled shoot was the answer. Styled shoots are a great investment of resources for all vendors involved – you are able to do your best work, collaborate with a bunch of other amazing vendors and have beautiful images to show for it. I think it’s important as a creative entrepreneur, to do some work for yourself a few times a year. It keeps you inspired, you don’t have to worry about client expectations and you have full control over mostly everything. There was once a time where I didn’t do this at all and let’s just say that was the HARDEST, most burnt out time of my career. SO creatives…I’m talking to you…get out there and shoot/style/bake/design/etc. what you love, for yourself once in a while. It’ll make you a better *insert profession here* for your clients & mostly importantly, you!

I got in touch with my former bride and incredible planner, Kirsten of Simply Elegant Affairs and told her about what I was dreaming up to see if she wanted to bring it to life! We reached out to a bunch of our “friendors” for the venue, cake, invitation suite, jewelry, florals, etc. and ended up with a total dream team. We were inspired by dusty blues, rose gold accents, muted greenery & pops of glam here and there. The whole thing came together flawlessly, we had the best time & created so much stinking lovely! I cannot wait to do another already!
