My mom always said a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet & for me that couldn’t be more true! I’m a wife & mama who feels all the feels and has found so much joy in the work I do. I’m a lover of people through and through, but also a lover of love so I feel like I’m in the right place, huh?!
I’m married to my HS sweetheart with a gaggle of littles that make my days go round. For as long as I can remember I’ve been full of JOY and about as outgoing as they come...I mean, I could talk to a brick wall. But give me a cozy blanket and a good book/show and you won’t hear me for hours. I dream of a purposeful life, filled with the good stuff that really matters -adventures with my family, sunrises, chats with sweet friends that go on for hours, date nights with my husband, family traditions, building our forever home in the quiet countryside and someone to wash, dry & put away my laundry. (#agirlcandream) When all my childhood friends were going on and on about the cool and fancy careers they wanted, all I could think about was how badly I just wanted to be married to an incredible man raising a whole bunch of little ones...and well here I am!

After becoming a mama, I found myself feeling so desperate to cling onto those fleeting little moments in time, making them mine forever, but sadly that’s not how it works so I decided to pick up a camera and learn my way around that big, clunky thing and the rest is history.
I used to shoot a whole bunch of pretty things in perfect settings that were totally beautiful but lacked the real-ness that I craved so much - so I took a leap, did a complete 180, arrived here and spoiler alert, I couldn’t be happier & feel more like myself!

I want you to know how deeply I feel connected to documenting all the moments - the crinkled noses, curls bouncing along as she runs wildly in the sunshine, the first time he sees you on your wedding day, forehead kisses, when you smile with your whole face, shoulder kisses, throw-your-head-back kinda laughter, teeny tiny fingers wrapped around yours, mom & dad snuggling amidst the craziness, sibling belly laughs, the tear that streams down your mama’s face while you say your vows...all that good stuff and more. That’s the real stuff that sets my heart on fire.
